The spread for the game is Kansas by 3 points.

Azubuike (13.7 points, league-high 10.4 rebounds, 2.6 blocks), who leads the conference with 14 double-doubles, became the first Jayhawk in the Big 12 era (since 1996-97) to post at least 30 points, 10 boards and five blocks in a single game with Wednesday’s performance. Marcus Garrett (9.2 points, 4.7 assists, 1.9 steals) has totaled 31 points in five outings since erupting for a career-high 24 on Feb. 15 and reportedly been wearing a walking boot around campus over the last few weeks but has yet to miss a game. Silvio De Sousa’s 12-game suspension for his role in a brawl against Kansas State on Jan. 21 ended after Wednesday’s game, but Self declined to speculate how much playing time the 6-9 forward will receive moving forward.

Jahmi’us Ramsey, who erupted for 26 points in the team’s 78-75 loss at Kansas on Feb. 1, ranks fifth in the Big 12 in scoring (15.4 points) but is averaging a mere 8.7 points on 9-of-33 shooting during the losing streak. Fellow freshman guard Kevin McCullar (6.0 points), who is averaging 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds since entering the starting lineup five games ago, has scored at least 12 points in each of the last three contests and reached double figures in five of his last seven outings overall. Davide Moretti (12.8 points) leads the conference in free-throw percentage (89.8) but has failed to reach his season scoring average in four straight contests after averaging 16.6 points over his previous three.

Texas Tech shoots a Big 12-best 35.7 percent beyond the arc and buried a school-record 16 3-pointers in last year’s 91-62 home rout of the Jayhawks.
