The line for the game is Oregon by 3.5 points.

Oregon will try to avoid its first three-game losing streak in four years when the Ducks host No. 25 Arizona State in a Pac-12 game on Thursday night. Oregon lost at USC and UCLA last week to drop into a tie for seventh in the conference standings with Arizona State, which was ranked as high as No. 4 in the coaches’ poll earlier this season.

Arizona State has gone without meaningful offensive support from its forwards most of this season, and coach Bobby Hurley has moved 6-9 freshman Vitaliy Shibel into the starting lineup in place of 6-7 sophomore Mickey Mitchell since they last faced Oregon, but Shibel has been even less effective, combining for two points in 46 minutes over the past five games. Oregon, meanwhile, just watched senior forward MiKyle McIntosh have his best week of the season, combining for 42 points on 17-for-28 shooting in the losses to USC and UCLA.

Kodi Justice produced his highest-scoring conference game against the Ducks last month, and he played nearly as well last week, scoring 17 points in a win against UCLA and a 19 points in a loss to No. 14 Arizona. Prior to the UCLA game, Justice had been limited to single digits in five of the previous six games. Justice got hot this time last year, averaging 18.3 points in four games from Feb. 23 to March 8 before cooling off in the season-finale against Oregon and finishing with five points on 2-for-13 shooting.

Payton Pritchard is another Oregon player that seems to be getting better as the season winds down, but he and McIntosh make up a small group for the Ducks. Pritchard is averaging 17.8 points over the past four games to inch his scoring average up to 14.9, and the sophomore combo guard played well against Arizona State earlier this season, scoring 18 points with six assists and one turnover. Pritchard is averaging 6.8 assists over his last four games and 4.9 on the season.

The Ducks tied a program record with 39 3-point attempts in the overtime loss to UCLA on Saturday.
