• Chelsea will certainly have one eye on next week’s game with Real Madrid but they still have work to do to secure a top four position in the Premier League. They head into the weekend in fourth and three points clear of fifth place West Ham.

• Fulham are running out of time to secure their top-flight status for next season. The Cottagers are seven points adrift with five games to play but do have a good run-in aside from matches against Chelsea and Manchester United.

• Unfortunately for Fulham, they have a dreadful record against Chelsea in general and even more so at Stamford Bridge. They last won there in 1979 so their chances of picking up points on Saturday, even if Chelsea take their eye off the ball, appears bleak.
