• Cadiz come into this one on the back of an impressive away win over Celta Vigo last time out thanks to goals from Choco Lozano and Alfonso Espino. That win followed a 2-0 defeat to Real Sociedad, but Cadiz have enjoyed a very decent start to this season, picking up five points from their first five games of the season.

• That’s a total they would have taken looking at their fixtures to kick off the season, but they face another stern test here with Barcelona desperate to put things right after Champions League humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich and then a disappointing home draw with Granada. Pressure is firmly on Ronald Koeman amid rumors he could be replaced, and a result against a Cadiz side that – on paper – they should be beating here.

• Though injury problems continue to mount, and confidence seems to be low, despite a start to the season that has been far from disastrous for Barcelona, as they are still unbeaten after five games. Still, Barca should come out on top here, even if they still aren’t as convincing as many fans would like them to be.
