• Besiktas extended their superb start to the season with a 3-0 win over Yeni Malatyaspor at the weekend. The defending champions top the Super Lig with 10 points from four games and are yet to concede a goal.

• Conversely, only two teams have conceded more league goals than Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga this season, but then no team has scored more. The German side remain electric going forward, yet their defence remains shaky, something Besiktas will be keen to capitalise upon.

• This could well be the most entertaining game in the first round of Champions League group stage games, but with Erling Haaland absolutely tearing defences apart, Borussia Dortmund have the pedigree to put three points on the board.
