Divock Origi is a doubt with cramp sustained in the 2-1 EFL Cup win over Tottenham, while Mamadou Sakho, Sheyi Ojo and Joe Gomez will all miss out. Jurgen Klopp can be expected to ring the changes for the return to Premier League action, with none of the players who featured on Tuesday night set to start.

Scott Dann and Jason Puncheon are both doubts for the welcome of Liverpool, though the former should be fine to return to the XI. Pape Souare, Loic Remy and Jonathan Benteke are all ruled out.

Following a five game unbeaten run, Palace have lost their last two Premier League matches, which has seen them drop into the bottom half of the table. They do, however, have a strong record against Liverpool, losing just one of their last five league meetings, though that defeat came in this fixture last season.

Liverpool currently sit level on points with league leaders Manchester City, who top the table on goal difference only. The Reds also boast the joint-best away record in England’s top tier this term and have won back-to-back league matches on their travels.

This promises to be an entertaining affair and one that Liverpool should secure victory in.
