Bacary Sagna has been ruled out for the game against Holland after suffering a hamstring injury in France’s 4-1 win over Bulgaria. Djibril Sidibe will replace the Manchester City right-back in Didier Deschamps’ only expected change.

Holland aren’t expected to make many changes from the side that beat Belarus 4-1 on Friday.

Both sides kicked off the international break with 4-1 victories. These two sides are expected to battle for top spot in their 2018 World Cup qualification group, although France are clear favourites.

The Netherlands have been in the wilderness since the 2014 World Cup but will be hoping to use this qualification period to get back on track. Getting a good result against France would be a huge step forward and help them get an early advantage in the race for top spot.

These matches have proven hard to predict in the past but they tend to be highscoring. France will fancy their chances, but should not underestimate a resurgent Holland side packed with quality.
