• The Chicago Sky will look to continue their winning ways and their charge up the WNBA standings when they battle the Dallas Wings on Friday in the second of a series between the teams in Arlington, Texas.

• The Sky dominated Wednesday’s game, winning 91-81 after leading by as many as 30 points in the second period. Dallas closed to within seven points early in the fourth, but Chicago repelled the home team’s charge and cruised to the victory.

• Chicago (10-8) has now won eight of its past nine games, getting back on the winning track after a loss in Connecticut earlier in the week. The Sky had captured a franchise-high tying seven straight games before the setback in Connecticut.

• Kahleah Copper led the Sky with 17 points in Wednesday’s win as seven Chicago players scored in double figures and two recorded double-doubles. It was the first time in franchise history that the team had seven players score 10 or more points in a single game.

• Candace Parker added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Sky, with Azura Stevens pouring in 13 points, Courtney Vandersloot adding 10 points and 12 assists, and Stefanie Dolson, Allie Quigley and Diamond DeShields hitting for 10 points apiece for Chicago.

• Dallas (8-9) had a two-game winning streak snapped. Isabelle Harrison led Dallas by matching her career high with 23 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Arike Ogunbowale added 22 for the Wings while Allisha Gray scored 16.

• Ogunbowale has now scored in double figures in 54 consecutive games, which leads the league and is a franchise record.

• The Wings’ starters amassed just eight combined points in the first half, after which Dallas trailed 51-29. Dallas shot only 32.4 percent from the field in the half, and was 1 of 11 from 3-point range.
