• The line for this game is Seattle by 8.5 points.

• The Seattle Storm and the Atlanta Dream will look to get back on a winning track Wednesday when they meet at Atlanta. The Storm (7-2) had their six-game winning streak snapped Sunday, losing the second of two games over the weekend against the visiting Dallas Wings. Atlanta (4-4) lost its two games at the Minnesota Lynx on Friday and Sunday after entering the weekend on a four-game winning streak.

• Seattle went from the high of Jewell Loyd burying a 3-pointer at the buzzer in a win Friday over Dallas to losing when it could not get a shot to fall after a timeout was called with 0.7 seconds left. It was the first defeat in nearly three weeks for the Storm, who led by double digits in the first half.

• Loyd’s buzzer-beater Friday helped her to be named Western Conference Player of the Week. In three games last week, Loyd averaged 22.7 points, 4.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game.

• Atlanta battled Minnesota close in the first game but lost 86-84. The Dream, playing without injured Chennedy Carter (elbow injury), lost 100-80 to the Lynx on Sunday.

• Tiffany Hayes had 21 points and Courtney Williams added 13 points with five assists and five rebounds in the second game.

• The reserves were the story in Sunday’s loss with rookie Aari McDonald, Cheyenne Parker and Crystal Bradford combining for 39 points, led by McDonald achieving her second consecutive 15-point performance.

• Seattle has won their 2 prior road games and Atlanta is 1-2 in prior home games.
