• The Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions rebounded from early-season missteps to regain their footing in a big way of late. The Redskins vie for their fifth consecutive victory on Sunday when they visit the Detroit Lions, who have won two in a row to even their record.

• Cousins will look to Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder to exploit Detroit’s 23rd-ranked pass defense, although fellow wideout DeSean Jackson’s involvement in Sunday’s game is in question. Jackson missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday with a sore shoulder, sustained in the second half against the Eagles.

• Lions DE Ezekiel Ansah has 7.5 sacks and three forced fumbles in his last eight home games and two sacks and a forced fumble in his last encounter with the Redskins.
