Maarten Stekelenburg missed Everton’s 2-0 win over West Ham through injury and it remains to be seen if he will recover in time to regain his place on Saturday. Idrissa Gueye will miss the trip to Stamford Bridge through suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the season last time out. This is a huge blow for Ronald Koeman’s side. The Everton manager could tinker with his formation and match Chelsea’s system, having already reverted to three at the back earlier in the season.

Marco van Ginkel and Kurt Zouma have stepped up their return to first team action after featuring for the U23s, but they aren’t expected to recover in time for the weekend. All in all, Antonio Conte isn’t expected to make any changes to the side that has kept four clean sheets in a row in the Premier League. This could even mean Pedro keeps out Willian.

Chelsea have kept four clean sheets in a row and are now one point off top spot after switching to a 3-4-3 formation.

Everton secured their first win in four last time out and will now be eyeing an upset when they travel to Stamford Bridge, although the loss of Idrissa Gueye and the absence of James McCarthy as cover may prove detrimental to their chances.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last six home matches against Everton and it should stay that way this weekend.
