LSU enters this weekend’s clash looking to recover from an 18-13 defeat in which a final-play touchdown was overruled following replay, leading to the dismissal of Miles and the hiring of Ed Orgeron on an interim basis.

Missouri, meanwhile, is coming off the largest victory margin in school history – a 79-0 throttling of Delaware State in which Drew Lock threw five touchdown passes and the teams decided to shorten the second half to 10-minute quarters.

The Tigers have scored 140 points in their two victories and are fourth in the nation in passing yards per game (391.3).

Junior standout Leonard Fournette leads the SEC with 128.7 rushing yards per game and has topped 100 in all three games he has played this season. Still, the Tigers have scored a total of 27 points in their matchups against Wisconsin and Auburn – both defeats – and did not receive particularly good quarterback play in either contest.

LSU has not lost an October game since 2009.
