• Sooner or later the wheels will totally fall of Edgar. He’s already at a point where he gets hurt early in almost every fight. And lighter weight classes are especially unkind to aging and losing speed. Still, Edgar’s top quality wrestling game and consistent boxing have kept him well afloat atop the bantamweight division.

• Edgar has the wrestling to get Vera down and he’s so savvy on the mat that a submission off of his back seems impossible for Vera to get against Frankie. Vera could also just as easily piece up Edgar with his striking and Frankie’s chin will disintegrate before our eyes.
