• Kim will hope his second go on Sunday Night Baseball will be smoother than the first, when he was chased after allowing four runs (one earned) in 3 1/3 innings on May 16. His last time out on Tuesday, he tossed a quality start despite allowing a career-high five walks.
• Smyly completed five innings for the first time in his past three starts and exited Sunday’s start in Miami without allowing a home run. The long ball has consistently hurt the veteran lefty, who is looking to win consecutive starts for the second time this year.
