San Antonio Spurs: (-145)

The line for this game is Spurs by 2.5 points.

• The San Antonio Spurs are settling into a groove as they enter the fourth contest of a six-game homestand. The Spurs won the first three games by an average of 17 points and look to record another victory when they host the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. Tuesday’s 111-86 rout of the Phoenix Suns served as a milestone for coach Gregg Popovich, who recorded his 1,211th career victory to move into fourth place on the all-time list, snapping a tie with Pat Riley.

• Los Angeles was blasted 123-99 by the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday and has lost four of its last six games. Clippers forward Tobias Harris will look to get back on the mark after having his two-lowest scoring outings in the past four games – seven against the Memphis Grizzlies on Dec. 5 and 10 against the Raptors.

• Los Angeles will be without reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams for at least the next two weeks after he injured his right hamstring on Monday. Williams is averaging 17.2 points with 10 20-point outings and coach Doc Rivers said it is impossible to replicate his instant offense off the bench. “You are not going to replace Lou so don’t try. Just don’t try,” Rivers told reporters. “Just try to score as much as you can, stay aggressive and move the ball more.”

• Forbes scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed a career-best 11 rebounds against Phoenix and he said it was first double-double at any level of basketball. “That’s important to me,” Forbes told reporters. “I’ve been playing my whole life and to accomplish something I’ve never accomplished is always pretty cool, but to get the win was bigger. We needed this win worse than I needed a double-double.” Shooting guard DeMar DeRozan scored a season-low five points but recorded nine assists and is averaging 8.7 of the latter over the past three games.

• The Clippers have won eight of the past 13 meetings, including a 116-111 home triumph on Nov. 15.

• San Antonio F Dante Cunningham went 4-for-4 from 3-point range versus the Suns for his second-best effort of the season after making all five 3-point attempts against the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 19.

• Los Angeles SG Avery Bradley is averaging just five points on 8-of-28 shooting over the past four games.
