• The line for this game is Alabama by 5.5 points.

• Arkansas will seek a 10th consecutive victory while Alabama hopes to get back to .500 in Southeastern Conference play when the two teams meet Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

• The Razorbacks (19-5, 8-3 SEC) haven’t lost a game since opening league play with three consecutive defeats. The Crimson Tide (15-9, 5-6) had dropped three of four outings before posting a 97-83 win at Ole Miss on Wednesday night.

• Arkansas extended its win streak with an 80-76 overtime victory over No. 1 Auburn on Tuesday night in Fayetteville. It was the Razorbacks’ first victory over a top-ranked opponent since the club defeated a Michael Jordan-led North Carolina team in 1984. That ended Auburn’s win streak at 19 games and touched off a wild, court-rushing celebration. Razorbacks coach Eric Musselman warns that is important for his players to get past all that with what they have coming up. After the trip to Alabama, the Razorbacks visit Missouri on Tuesday and then host No. 19 Tennessee on Saturday.

• Alabama presents an interesting challenge for Arkansas. The Crimson Tide made only 3 of 30 3-point attempts in a 66-55 loss at home to Kentucky last Saturday. They were 12 of 28 against Ole Miss, with junior Jaden Shackelford scoring a career-high 30 points while matching his personal best with eight 3-pointers.

• Alabama is giving up 75.9 points per game and allowing opponents to shoot 43.7 percent from the floor.

• Shackelford averages a team-best 17.6 points per game, while Jahvon Quinerly chips in 14.3.
