The Wildcats are coming off a 99-81 triumph against Winthrop as Jon Axel Gudmundsson registered 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Gudmundsson made 4-of-7 3-pointers and Davidson as a team shot 13-of-28 from long range in winning its fifth straight game. Gudmundsson (19.6 points) is one of three Wildcats players who average double-digit points and shoot at least 50 percent from the field, along with Kellan Grady (19.4 points) and Luka Brajkovic (11.6).

The Owls also have three double-digit scorers, led by Alston (18.3 points), who had shot 14-of-49 from the field over the previous three games before rising up late against UMass. Quinton Rose (16.4 points) shot 34.5 percent from 3-point range as a sophomore but is just 7-of-44 from beyond the arc this season. Sophomore Nate Pierre-Louis has been the big surprise of the Owls’ season, as he is averaging 11.6 points and 6.4 rebounds and has only committed eight turnovers in the last nine games.

Temple is 11-6 all-time at Boardwalk Hall.
