• The line for this game is Davidson by 1.5 points.

• Wake Forest looks to put together back-to-back wins for the first time since mid-November as it hosts Davidson on Monday evening. The Demon Deacons are coming off a dominating win over Charlotte, while the Wildcats will try to bounce back off just their second loss of the season. Freshman forward Isaiah Mucius scored 16 on 6-of-10 shooting as Wake Forest crushed Charlotte 80-56 on Dec. 6 to snap a skid of two losses in three games to mid-major programs as the team went into its exam break.

• Davidson returned from its 11-day exam break on Saturday but suffered a 77-75 overtime loss at the hands of Temple in Atlantic City. The Wildcats held an eight-point lead at the break but the Owls rallied in the second, leading to Quentin Rose’s steal-and-dunk as time expired for the win.

• Not only did the Wildcats blow the halftime lead, but they also led 75-69 with just 1:32 remaining in overtime, but a pair of 3s from the Owls knotted things up. Freshman guard Luke Frampton, who is averaging just 9.9 points this season, set a career high in pacing Davidson with 24 on 8-of-9 shooting, including 7-of-8 from behind the arc. Leading scorer Kellan Grady (19.4 points per game) missed the Temple game with a knee injury and the team hasn’t made an announcement about his availability for Monday.

• Sophomore center Olivier Sarr added a career-high 14 and also grabbed nine rebounds as part of five Demon Deacons to reach double figures against Charlotte. Chaundee Brown also had 14, Brandon Childress scored 13 and freshman star Jaylen Hoard finished with 12. Childress and Hoard are the main offensive options for Wake Forest as they lead the team with 16.9 and 15.5 points per game in 36.8 and 30.1 minutes, respectively.

• Wake Forest shot 55 percent from the floor and 50 percent from the 3-point line against Charlotte, way above its season averages of 44.5 percent and 37.6 percent.

• Childress is fifth in the ACC with 4.4 assists per game.

• Davidson committed 18 turnovers that led to 31 points against on Saturday.
