Who will WIN this matchup?
Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2)
@ Denver Broncos (0-3)
Current odds:
Jacksonville Jaguars: (+125)
Denver Broncos: (-145)
• The line for this game is Denver by 2.5 points.
• The Jacksonville Jaguars have yet to grant Jalen Ramsey’s trade request, but they will be without the star cornerback anyway when they visit the winless Denver Broncos on Sunday. Ramsey, who has not practiced this week due to illness and a back injury, returned home on Wednesay for the birth of his second child and will return “when he’s ready,” according to coach Doug Marrone. Ramsey, who asked to be traded following a blowup with Marrone on the sideline during the team’s Week 2 loss in Houston, registered nine tackles and forced a fumble last week as Jacksonville defeated Tennessee 20-7 for its first win of the season. Rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew II completed 20-of-30 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns without throwing an interception en route to his first career victory as a starter.
• Denver looks to avoid its first 0-4 start since 1999 and halt the longest active losing streak in the NFL, a slide that reached seven games after last week’s 27-16 setback at Green Bay. The Broncos, who have won their last two meetings with the Jaguars to even the all-time series at five victories apiece, have yet to record a sack or a takeaway this season.

• Second-year running back Phillip Lindsay had his best performance of the campaign last week, registering season highs of 21 carries and 81 yards while scoring his first two touchdowns of the year. The 25-year-old recorded a pair of two-TD performances while rushing for 1,037 yards and nine scores as a rookie in 2018. Defensive end Derek Wolfe was a limited participant at practice on Thursday after being carted off the field with a right ankle injury last week and is questionable for the contest against Jacksonville.
• The Broncos announced CB Bryce Callahan, who has yet to play since departing Chicago in March to sign a three-year, $21 million contract, will miss 4-to-6 weeks after undergoing a procedure on his foot on Wednesday.
• Jacksonville’s DJ Chark is one of three WRs in the AFC (Oakland’s Tyrell Williams and Indianapolis’ T.Y. Hilton) with a touchdown catch in each of the first three games of the season and can become the first in franchise history with a scoring reception in four straight contests to begin a campaign.
• Denver promoted Fred Brown from the practice squad and waived fellow WR River Cracraft.
