• Morocco progressed to the last-16 unbeaten in Group C, winning two of their three games. They are overwhelming favourites to book their quarter-final spot here.

• Malawi exceeded expectations to progress to the knockout stages, securing the place alongside Senegel and Guinea. The Flames have failed to win their last four meetings with Morocco, but held them to a 0-0 draw when these two last met at AFCON 2019.

• However, Morocco have been superb this tournament so far and should ease into the next round of the competition on Tuesday.
