• Atletico didn’t have the opportunity to rest any players at the weekend having faced Barcelona. Vrsaljko is the only real injury doubt for the visitors, with Juanfran set to keep his place at right-back should the Croatian fail to recover from a knock picked up on international duty.

• After an absolute mauling on their Champions League debut at Chelsea, Qarabag showed a significant improvement to give Roma a scare and may be a different proposition at home. The line-up should remain the same, set up in a 4-2-3-1.

• There’s no question as to the favourites in this one and after their defeat to Chelsea last time out in Europe they won’t be taking the trip to Azerbaijan lightly.

• As such the chances of an upset should actually decrease in this one but a rout is also unlikely.
