• Manchester United have made an atrocious start to the Premier League season, and while we’re only two games in, they find themselves bottom of the Premier League. They lost both league meetings with Liverpool last season, conceding nine goals and scoring none in the process.

• Liverpool, though, have made a stuttering start to the campaign, dropping points against both Fulham and Crystal Palace. They would end the gameweek below United in the table were the hosts to secure a first league victory of the season on Monday night.

• United have looked abysmal in their opening two games, and while Liverpool haven’t fared much better, an away win should kickstart the Reds’ campaign.
