• Finland are level on points with Russia but currently occupy third spot due to their inferior head-to-head record. Losing to Russia could all but end their chances of going through as few expect them to trouble Belgium on Monday.

• Belgium came from behind to beat Denmark last time out and for 45 minutes looked very ordinary. Then Roberto Martinez brought on Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne and suddenly you remembered again why they will be so dangerous this summer. Both could make their first starts at the tournament here.

• Finland are remarkably unbeaten in their last seven meetings against Belgium, last losing to the Red Devils in 1968. Their last meeting was back in 2016 and it ended 1-1. No one is surely expecting that streak to continue here.
