• A 2-0 defeat at home to Arsenal at the weekend ended a four-game winning run for Leicester but in truth they have not got going all season. Leicester have conceded in each of their last eight and were fortunate to beat Spartak Moscow last time out in the Europa League after going 2-0 down.

• Conceding a 2-0 lead and losing 4-3 to Leicester has put Spartak Moscow in freefall. They lost their next match 7-1 to league rivals Zenit and were held to a 1-1 draw with Rostov at the weekend.

• Neither side are in good form heading into Thursday’s game but the fact Leicester have made a real mess of all of their Europa League matches suggests another tricky game here.
