No: Golden brick is not used during the episode

 

• The Golden Brick is in possession of one of the teams. They can choose to use it before the elimination part of the show to save themselves from being eliminated. If they use it, they lose it for good, so the strategy is judging whether or not the team who possesses the Golden Brick thinks they have a good enough build to avoid elimination and can save the brick OR use it to be sure they are safe if they think their build may not be good enough to avoid elimination.
