• The Phoenix Suns counted moral victories in losses to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors but seemed to be moving further away from their first win in a loss at the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday. The Suns will try to take advantage of a team playing the second night of a back-to-back and find the win column for the first time when they host the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

Warren is enjoying a breakout in his third season and leads the team in scoring at 21.3 points – more than 10 better than his career-high average of 11 last season.

• Suns rookie PG Tyler Ulis got his longest look on Monday and handed out six assists in 18 minutes off the bench.

• Portland SF Al-Farouq Aminu is 1-of-17 from 3-point range in the last three games.
