• Mark Noble is suspended for West Ham, with Havard Nordtveit in line to partner Pedro Obiang in the middle of the park. Arthur Masuaku, Gokhan Tore, Sam Byram, Andy Carroll and Winston Reid are all ruled out through injury. Diafra Sakho, Reece Oxford and James Collins are doubts, though the latter may start.

• Tottenham are without Marcus Edwards, Erik Lamela, Ben Davies and Toby Alderweireld through injury. Moussa Sissoko returns from suspension while Dele Alli is a doubt with a knee problem. Mauricio Pochettino could name the same XI that started the 1-1 draw with Arsenal, which would see Spurs continue with a three-man defence.

• Tottenham have failed to win their last seven in all competitions, though are the last remaining unbeaten Premier League team this season. The return to fitness of Harry Kane will come as a boost to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

• West Ham, meanwhile, have lost only one of their last six competitive outings, but have won only three league games all campaign. They have also failed to win their last two league visits to White Hart Lane and Saturday’s trip to north London won’t be an easy one to navigate.

• With that, Spurs could return to winning ways against the Hammers, who are without key players for the weekend’s fixture.
