• Scott Sinclair is ruled out through injury and with Patrick Roberts ineligible, Callum McGregor could feature on the left. Leigh Griffiths is a doubt for Celtic, while Kieran Tierney is ruled out. Erik Sviatchenko is a doubt, but could feature regardless.

• Fernandinho is suspended for the hosts, while Fernando and Yaya Toure both miss out for City. Vincent Kompany and Fabian Delph are also both ruled out through injury. Pep Guardiola could make some changes here, with Willy Caballero and Kelechi Iheanacho potentially coming into the side.

• Manchester City will finish second in Group C and will look to bounce back from the disappointing 3-1 home loss to Chelsea at the weekend. They were held to a 3-3 draw with Celtic when these two met in Glasgow earlier in the year.

• The Bhoys will finish bottom of the group and have nothing by pride to play for here. Brendan Rodgers’ side are on a nine-match unbeaten run away from home, however. That streak could come to an end against City on Tuesday night.
