ESPN simulations have Tulane as 58.2% favorites to win the game.

59% of sports bets are currently on Massachusetts to win as (+120) favorites.

The Green Wave looked like a competent offense for the first time against an FBS opponent last week after struggling to mold the option attack that first-year coach Willie Fritz brought over with more of a passing game. Glen Cuiellette emerged as the starter with his performance in overtime against Louisiana last week and will get the nod over Johnathan Brantley on Saturday.

The Minutemen had their offensive breakout against Mississippi State last week but could not match the effort on the defensive end and fell 47-35.

Cuiellette started the opener at Wake Forest but was unimpressive in the 7-3 loss, and Brantley was better running the option in a 66-21 win over Southern in Week 2 to earn himself a start in Week 3.

The Minutemen totaled 35 points in their first three games and matched that against the Bulldogs as Andrew Ford passed for 273 yards and four touchdowns in his second start. The sophomore got the starting job after the team managed 14 points in two losses to begin the season and has kicked the offense into a different gear with seven TD passes in the last two weeks. The Minutemen are having trouble stopping the run – yielding an average of 172.5 yards on the ground – and are minus-three in turnover margin.

Green Wave DE Peter Woullard has recorded at least one sack and a fumble recovery in each of the last two games.
