The Bulldogs averaged more than 100 points in a pair of blowouts and held San Diego State to 48 in another win to start the season and have six players averaging in double figures scoring. Gonzaga will try to use its size advantage with 7-1 senior Przemek Karnowski and 7-0 freshman Zach Collins – the team’s leading scorers – against a Quinnipiac team which lost to Vermont and Columbia to open the season. The Bobcats are balanced on offense, but are shooting just 36.4 percent from the field.

Karnowski, who became the ninth player in the program’s history with both 1,000 points and 600 rebounds, tops the team at 14.7 points and averages seven rebounds while shooting 66.7 percent from the field. Collins has made 15 of his 20 attempts from the field and averaged 14 points and six boards in his first three collegiate contests. Junior guard Nigel Williams-Goss, a transfer from Washington, runs the show and averages 12.3 points to go along with 6.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and two steals for the Bulldogs.

Junior Chaise Daniels, a 6-9 forward, is the only player among the top five scorers taller than 6-6 and averages 12.5 points – third best on the team. Junior guard Reggie Oliver shares the team lead in scoring (13.5) and tops the Bobcats in rebounding (6.0) at just 6-1 while contributing four assists per game. Freshman guard Mikey Dixon (13.5 points) has drained 6-of-11 from 3-point range and senior guard Daniel Harris (10.5), the team’s leading scorer returning, has combined with Oliver to make another 11 from behind the arc.

Quinnipiac’s opponents are shooting 56.4 percent from the field and averaging 90 points against them.

The Bulldogs are 75-0 when they score at least 80 points and 65-0 when holding opponents under 60 since 2011.
