[7:00 PM] Yale @ Temple

Who will WIN this matchup?

Yale Bulldogs (6-4)

@ Temple Owls (8-4)

Obi Enechionyia is the leading scorer for Temple, averaging 17.3 points on the season, although his seven highest-scoring games were the first seven. The junior forward is averaging 12 points in the last five outings, including a 13-point effort in Saturday’s closer-than-expected win over New Jersey Tech.

The Bulldogs shoot over 40 percent from 3-point range as a team with four primary shooters, led by Miye Oni (28 3-pointers and 45.9 percent – both team highs). The freshman was 7-of-8 from 3-point range in last Tuesday’s 90-59 win over Central Connecticut State, while Anthony Dallier was 3-of-5 from the arc for the second straight game. Alex Copeland scored a team-high 23 points in that contest and made 10-of-14 shots – his fourth straight game with at least 15 points while shooting at least 50 percent from the field.

The Owls did not play Josh Brown against NJIT after the veteran point guard felt soreness in his Achilles’ tendon. Brown, who ruptured his Achilles last season and missed the first six games this season as part of his lengthy recovery, is averaging 7.2 points and 1.8 assists but had been receiving more minutes – with higher production – of late.

Temple’s last six victories have all come by single digits.

Yale has increased its scoring in four straight games – from 59 points to 66 to 81 to 90 points in last Tuesday’s win.
