[8:00 PM] TCU @ Southern Methodist

Who will WIN this matchup?

TCU Horned Frogs (8-0)

@ Southern Methodist Mustangs (6-3)

The line for this game is SMU by 4.5 points.

Sitting at 8-0 for just the third time in program history, TCU aims to remain undefeated Wednesday when it visits SMU in non-league action. The Horned Frogs’ resume includes a road win against UNLV, back-to-back victories over Washington and, most recently, a 23-point rout of Arkansas State.

The Horned Frogs’ scoring attack is balanced and deep with Alex Robinson (11.9 ppg) currently leading the way. Robinson also averages 5.3 assists and has recorded multiple steals in every game this season. Jaylen Fisher matches Brodziansky at 11.4 points, while Kenrich Williams enters the week averaging 10.5 points and 10 rebounds and is seeking his third consecutive double-double.

In Sunday’s win over Delaware State, SMU got a big boost from its frontcourt to offset an off-night by the backcourt. Forwards Ben Moore and Semi Ojeleye combined for 31 points and 17 rebounds, while reserve forward Harry Froling chipped in 11 points on 5-of-5 shooting. Starting guards Sterling Brown, Shake Milton and Jarrey Foster went a collective 5-of-23, although Brown’s final line – 11 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, two blocks and two steals was pretty impressive.

The Mustangs are 0-3 when allowing more than 70 points and 6-0 when holding the opposition below that mark.

SMU leads the all-time series 105-85. The 190 meetings are the most for any opponent in TCU history.

In the last three games, TCU reserves have outscored the opponent’s reserves 124-57.
