• Andres Romero is an injury concern for the Montreal Impact ahead of the Eastern Conference final first leg against Toronto FC. Didier Drogba could feature once again for the Impact after a training ground injury to Matteo Mancosu during the week, although Mancosu managed to play through injury against the Red Bulls.

• The Montreal Impact weren’t expected to get past the New York Red Bulls, but by doing so they have set up an all-Canadian Eastern Conference final. This promises to be quite the spectacle.

• If Toronto FC play to the best of their ability they should emerge from this tie and make the MLS Cup final. They need their frontline to be in top form, though. That’s where they win games.

• TFC certainly have the edge on the Impact. They should take something back to BMO Field for the second leg.
