Andre Ayew returned to action in the EFL Cup on Wednesday night and may feature in place of Simone Zaza on the frontline. Aaron Cresswell should also start on the left following his return from suspension as Slaven Bilic continues with a three-man defence. The Hammers boss, though, is without Arthur Masuaku, Gokhan Tore, Sam Byram, Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll through injury.

Leighton Baines could miss out for Everton here, with the left-back struggling to shake off a knock. Muhamed Besic, Tyias Browning, Matthew Pennington and James McCarthy are all ruled out for the welcome of West Ham. Despite a 2-1 loss at Burnley last week, Ronald Koeman could name the same XI for Sunday’s meeting with the Hammers.

After a bright start to the season, Everton have now failed to win their last four Premier League games. Their poor form has seen them drop out of the top-4 and they will hope to turn their form around against a rejuvenated West Ham.

The Hammers have won their last three in all competitions, with a three-man defence playing a key role. West Ham secured victory in an entertaining encounter at Goodison Park last season, though that is their only victory in their last five league visits to Everton.

West Ham have impressed and while Everton are keen to return to winning ways, a draw is a possibility.
