• Czech Republic looked to have blown their chance of qualifying from Group A after losing 2-1 to Kosovo but are back in the driving seat after winning both qualifiers during the last international break, including a surprise victory over England. They lead Kosovo by one point heading into their last two matches and know a victory here will secure them a place at next summer’s championships.

• Kosovo know they already have a play-off spot guaranteed for Euro 2020 no matter what happens in Group A but their priority will be to qualify automatically by securing a top-two finish. Only a point separates themselves and Czech Republic, whom they beat 2-1 at home earlier in the campaign.

• Home advantage could prove key here. Czech Republic have a 100 per cent record in qualifying on home soil, while Kosovo have only won one of three on the road. The fact Kosovo will be missing star striker Vedat Muriqi also swings this match into Czech Republic’s favour.
