• One day after hitting a combined 12 home runs, the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks continue their four-game series on Saturday at Chase Field. Rookie Mike Yastrzemski belted three of his team’s six shots in Friday’s 11-inning, 10-9 victory, helping the Giants win for the sixth time in eight games. Yastrzemski led off the 11th inning with a blast over the center-field wall to finish 3-for-6 with four RBIs from the leadoff spot while Kevin Pillar homered twice for San Francisco, which climbed within 2 1/2 games of the National League’s second wild-card spot. Brandon Belt added a solo shot and Pillar recorded four RBIs, but both were overshadowed by Yastrzemski, whose 16 homers are the most by a Giants rookie since Buster Posey hit 18 in 2010.

• Arizona lost its third straight contest despite receiving homers from Wilmer Flores (two), Adam Jones, Eduardo Escobar, Nick Ahmed and Ketel Marte. David Peralta recorded one hit in six at-bats and is just 3-for-24 over his last seven contests.

• Webb is expected to be promoted from Triple-A Sacramento to make his major-league debut in place of Conner Menez, who struggled in his last two starts. A fourth-round draft pick in 2014, the 22-year-old began the season with Double-A Richmond and made five starts before receiving an 80-game suspension for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug. Webb earned the call to the majors after pitching well in 12 games for Sacramento.

• Clarke will be called up from Triple-A Reno to replace Robbie Ray, who was placed on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with back spasms. “Taylor deserves this opportunity,” Arizona manager Torey Lovullo told reporters. “I know he’s excited to be back here, and I’m excited to see what he can help us out with.” The 26-year-old rookie has made 13 starts and one relief appearance in four previous stints with the Diamondbacks this season.

• Over the last three years, the Giants are 21-4 against Arizona when they score four or more runs compared to 5-23 when scoring three or fewer.

• Marte has collected four home runs and 10 RBIs in 12 games versus San Francisco this season.

• San Francisco is 14-4 in its last 18 road contests against NL West opponents.

• According to Sports Insights, Ketel Marte has been scratched from the Arizona line-up for tonight.
