The Colorado Rockies have only won 33 of its first 62 games. However, the team enters this game out of a nice win against the Mets on the road yesterday. Now, the Rockies will turn to Jon Gray as the starting pitcher for this contest. Gray has been okay this season with a 5-4 record along with a 4.11 ERA. The Rockies have struggled with their starting pitching this season as the team currently has the highest ERA for starting pitchers in the league but Gray has been one of the team’s better starters this season.

The Colorado Rockies are led by third baseman Nolan Arenado who has been tremendous over the last few seasons. Last season, Arenado hit 38 home runs along with 110 RBIs as he was an MVP candidate for the majority of the season. However, Arenado is also a magician in the field as he has won the Gold Glove Award at his position every season since 2013. So far this season, he has been fantastic as he has a .332 batting average along with 16 home runs and 54 RBIs.

The Mets will turn to Steven Matz as the starting pitcher for this contest. He has been okay this season with a 4-4 record this season along with a 3.97 ERA. He will look to put in a solid start against a quality offense in this one.

The New York Mets are led by rookie first baseman Pete Alonso who has been amazing this season. So far this season, Alonso has looked dialed in at the plate. However, he has also displayed a tremendous amount of power as he has a team-leading 20 home runs along with 45 RBIs. Alonso is currently the front-runner to win the NL Rookie of the Year Award and for good reason.
