Who will WIN this matchup?

#12 Kansas State Wildcats (6-0)

@ Marquette Golden Eagles (5-2)

Current odds:

Kansas State Wildcats: (+120)

Marquette Golden Eagles: (-140)

The line for the game is Marquette by 2.5 points.

Wade was one of four players to score in double-figures against Lehigh along with junior Makol Mawien (10) and seniors Barry Brown, Jr. (16) and Kamau Stokes (10). Brown’s 16 points moved him into ninth place on Kansas State’s all-time scoring list (1,377) and with a team-leading four steals the guard is now just nine away from sitting atop the school’s career steals list (Jacob Pullen, 210). Brown has been a key part of Kansas State entering Saturday sitting seventh in the country in scoring defense (56.3) and tied for 18th in turnover margin (plus-5.8).

The most noticeable improvement this season for Marquette is its defense as the Golden Eagles have held opponents to under 40 percent shooting in each of their five victories – a feat they accomplished just four times in 2017-18. Fordham transfer Joseph Chartouny, who led the nation in steals a season ago, recorded only one steal through his first six games with Marquette but exploded for seven against Charleston Southern. Forward Brendan Bailey scored a career-high 10 points off the bench for the Golden Eagles on Tuesday as the freshman tallied just 12 total through his first six games despite scoring the first points in Fiserv Forum history with a 3-pointer to open the season.
