@ TCU Horned Frogs (16-14)

Current odds:

Oklahoma Sooners: (-105)

TCU Horned Frogs: (-115)

The spread for the game is TCU by 1 point.

That the Sooners were leading with time winding down Tuesday is a miracle unto itself as the offense produced their least efficient effort of the season by shooting 20 percent from 3-point range (2-for-20) and 28 percent overall (14-for-50). What kept Oklahoma in the contest was the disparity at the free throw line as the Longhorns managed a season-low two attempts (hitting both) while the Sooners went 21-for-29 from the charity stripe – their highest totals in makes and attempts since going 23-for-29 against Kansas State in the Big 12 opener. Junior forward Brady Manek is second on the team behind Doolittle with 14.7 points per game and has hit a team-best 69 triples this season but scored just 10 points Tuesday while going 2-for-12 from the floor and 0-for-5 from downtown.

Senior Desmond Bane will play his final collegiate game in front of the TCU fans Saturday and is expected to set a school record as the guard’s 243 career triples puts him in a tie with Corey Santee (2001-05) for the most in program history. Bane was lights out from downtown against the Jayhawks as he went 6-for-10 from behind-the-arc on his way to a team-high 24 points while also chipping in with four helpers – the third time in four games he’s led TCU in assists. Sophomore center Kevin Samuel is third on the team in scoring (10 points per game) and is leading in rebounding (8.4), while his 80 blocks are the most in the Big 12 and the 10th-most nationwide.

The Sooners commit the fewest fouls in the Big 12 (13.3 per game, second-fewest nationally), while also leading the conference in turnovers (11.1, 23rd nationally).
