Jacob Young made all three of his 3-point attempts en route to a team-high 17 points to go along with three steals in the upset win over Maryland. Montez Mathis added 15 points and three steals while Geo Baker finished with 11 points to help the Scarlet Knights reach 10 conference wins for the first time since the 1990-91 season. Ron Harper Jr., Akwasi Yeboah and Myles Johnson all tallied nine points as Rutgers earned its fourth double-digit victory over a ranked opponent this season.

Hunter scored a career-high 19 points to go along with three assists and three steals to help the Boilermakers sweep the season series with Iowa. Evan Boudreaux added 14 points and 14 rebounds to notch his second double-double of the season and the 26th of his career while Jahaad Proctor finished with 12 points against the Hawkeyes. “It seems to be a big theme for us because when we make shots we’re better in other areas,” Purdue coach Matt Painter said. “That’s probably true for most people but it’s really true for this team.”

Purdue has won six consecutive home meetings with Rutgers.
