• Ivory Coast are assured of a top-three finish, so have already booked their spot in the last-16, but they’ll look to progress as group winners this week. They should have wrapped up first already, however a late goal against Sierra Leone denied them all three points.

• Sierra Leone kept their hopes of qualification alive with a late 2-2 draw with Ivory Coast over the weekend, but their place in the next round is far from safe as they sit on two points from two games.

• Equatorial Guinea pulled off a huge upset to defeat Algeria on Sunday to move into second in Group E. They’ll now feel confident of earning a spot in the last-16 of AFCON.
