Arsenal @ AFC Bournemouth

What will be the match result?

Arsenal: Win

@ AFC Bournemouth: Win or Draw

Current odds:

Arsenal: Win: (+105)

AFC Bournemouth: Win or Draw: (-125)

•  Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette both withdrew from international duty due to respective back and groin injuries but have both returned to training with Arsenal this week and should feature. Laurent Koscielny is nearing a first-team return but lacks match fitness and isn’t expected back just yet. Nacho Monreal is ruled out for another two weeks, while Stephan Lichtsteiner will require further assessment.

•  Jefferson Lerma and Joshua King have both returned to full training and are available this weekend following injury concerns. A hand injury forced Asmir Begovic to withdraw from the Bosnia squad during the international break but he will start against Arsenal. A groin injury could keep Junior Stanislas out once again for the home side, while Adam Smith has been ruled out for three months with a knee injury.

•  Bournemouth have lost successive Premier League matches for the first time this season. The international break came at the right time, even if their injury problems have not eased.

•  Arsenal are unbeaten in all competitions since August but have struggled to turn draws into wins of late, drawing four of their last five in all competitions.

•  Unai Emery’s side start the weekend in fifth and four points ahead of their opponents Bournemouth, who are sixth. Arsenal have not won their last two trips to Dean Court but you suspect they are better placed to change that this time around.
