• Brentford will feel aggrieved coming out of the first leg after they were forced to play almost half an hour with 10-men. The Bees were let off the hook when David Raya saved Andre Ayew’s tame penalty but the London club didn’t learn their lesson as Ayew gave Swansea the lead late on.

• Steve Cooper deserves full credit for the way he set his Swansea side up at the weekend. The Welsh side were organised at the back and dangerous on the counter and, thanks to Andre Ayew’s late stunner, know that a draw here will book them a place at Wembley.
