• While City are playing for little more than pride at this point, Arsenal’s run of three consecutive wins prior to lockdown under Mikel Arteta have offered hope of a European and potentially even Champions League finish yet.

• Much of the focus ahead of the game – besides the fact that football is just back – will centre around the Spaniard’s return to the Etihad having previously served as Pep Guardiola’s assistant.
