• Chelsea have started their season with a heavy defeat in the league to Chelsea and penalty shoot-out heartache to Liverpool in Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup. Despite the results, Chelsea have showed some really encouraging signs under Frank Lampard, particuarly in the first half of both matches. Fatigue could be an issue in the second half of Sunday’s game with Leicester.

• Leicester started their campaign with a respectable 0-0 draw with Wolves and now Brendan Rodgers returns to former club Chelsea aiming to pick up their first win of the season. The Foxes will need to weather Chelsea’s pressure in the first half and look to hurt them in the second period when Chelsea will inevitably tire, as they have done in their first two matches.

• This is a difficult match to predict. Chelsea have only won one of the last five meetings between the two sides in regular time and Leicester have the players and manager to inflict further misery on the Blues. However, N’Golo Kante’s return in midweek was massive for Chelsea and they have shown plenty of promise in their first two matches under Lampard. It should be an entertaining match, nonetheless.
