• Leicester have made a poor start to the 2022/23 Premier League campaign and come into Saturday’s welcome of Southampton on the back of a 4-2 loss at Arsenal. They do have a strong home record against Saints, winning the last three meetings between the pair at the King Power.

• Saints showed great spirit to overturn a two-goal deficit and draw 2-2 with Leeds last time out. On the back of a 4-1 opening weekend loss to Tottenham, that’s a huge boost.

• Saints have lost their last three on the road, but Leicester haven’t been wholly convincing in the early weeks of the campaign, and even with the return of Harvey Barnes, a low scoring draw may be on the cards here.
