• Burnley earned their first point of the season against West Brom on Monday, but are yet to win a league match this season with the Clarets stuck in the relegation zone coming into the welcome of Tottenham. The Clarets, however, are unbeaten in their last two home meetings with Spurs.

• Tottenham got their Europa League group stage campaign off to a winning start against LASK on Thursday night, earning a 3-0 win. After last week’s 3-3 draw with West Ham, the result was the perfect tonic for Jose Mourinho’s side as they look to put another three points on the board here.

• Spurs’ two Premier League wins this season have come away from home, where they excelled at Southampton and Manchester United, and with Harry Kane well rested having played no part in midweek, the north London should side get back to winning ways in the league on Monday night.
