• New Zealand could be ready to cause a major upset here, having won three of their last five friendlies despite being outsiders in all three. Goals have been hard to come by in their 2019 fixtures though, with just two seeing over 2.5 total goals.

• Group E favourites the Netherlands reached the knockouts in their maiden World Cup (WC) in 2015, and are expected to do so again, having since secured the 2017 European Championship and a regular top ten ranking. A loss to Norway in the WC qualifiers meant they had to secure their spot the tough way, grinding out a two-legged playoff win. Mixed form in 2019 has plagued them, with consecutive home wins over fellow contenders Australia in the past fortnight allowing them to move on from a woeful Algarve Cup performance (D1, L2).
