• Hubert Hurkacz moved one step closer to securing his spot in the ATP Tour Finals by registering a three-set comeback win over lucky loser Dominik Koepfer in the round of 16 at Paris Masters. The German dominated the first set and twice led the second set by a break, but the Pole did not give up and eventually got the crucial win, 4-6 7-5 6-2.

• James Duckworth trailed 2-4 in the first set and wasted a 4-0 lead in the second set against compatriot Alexei Popyrin in the round of 16 but did enough to settle the scores in straight sets, 7-6 6-4. His previous two matches of the campaign went the distance against Roberto Bautista Agut in R1 and Lorenzo Musetti in R2.
