• It took a while, but the Minnesota Lynx have a winning record for the first time this season. After starting the season 0-4, the Lynx are 8-7 after winning their last three games and eight of their last 11 going into a match-up with the Mercury in Phoenix on Saturday night.

• Kayla McBride scored 10 points during a pivotal 12-0 third-quarter run in Minnesota’s 82-76 victory at Phoenix on Wednesday. She made nine of 13 shots, including five of seven 3-pointers, after making just seven of 22 shots, including two of nine 3-pointers, in the previous two games.
